#1: Ben learned to sit up, thus allowing him to entertain himself for long periods of time. Plus, he's just cute when he sits up. PLUS, he finally got a bumbo seat, which I had been eyeing for some time now. I guess better late then never, right?
We may look like dangerous parents keeping a child on a table, but here is a cute picture of him being a big boy and sitting all by himself.

Jumbo in a Bumbo#2: Gracie's end-of-the-year Kindergarten Program. It was quite an impressive way to end the year! It was full of songs, dances, memorized parts, and tons of sign language. Gracie was very focused and careful not to mess up anything she was performing. Her little eyebrows were furrowed in concentration the entire performance. She did great!

Look at that form! I think she's got disco running through her veins.#3: My not-so-handy husband is turning into a handyman and built me some food storage shelves for mother's day. Plus, all that work 'couponing' lately seems to feel more rewarding when I can see all the food I've bought, all nicely arranged.
#4: All of my family (minus Rach and Mike-who we missed!) came to visit for Memorial Day. Even MY grandma joined in on all the fun. We spent the day playing, golfing, visiting ancestral graves, and having a picnic and s'mores up the canyon. Thank you, thank you for making the drive to come and visit us. We had sooooo much fun!
All the kids seemed to gravitate towards Estee the whole day. I hope she had energy left the next day!

This is cool...this grave, which is about 10 minutes away from our house, is Grandma Shaw's in-laws (or my grandpa's parents). Plus, I think it is amazing that an 80-something year old woman can kneel down on the grass and stand up like it was no big deal. I want to be like that when I am a great-grandma!
